HA! Dear Lili, widely known as an absolute Marauders Queen @Bells !
I happened to draw your name in our little Secret Quarantine Exchange and this idea came to me fairly quickly. I went through your playlist and this song started... I immediately thought "whoa, I see this forbidden romance, I see two people going against the whole world, facing tragedy after tragedy and just wishing to be together in peace, far from war, judgement and pain". And Andromeda & Ted are EXACTLY this. Their story is so tragic when you think about it? We know so little about them, but we know they went against her very powerful pure-blood family, against rising danger that muggle-borns faced, against war brewing in the air. And then they suffered. And Andromeda - this powerful, amazing woman - left alone when another war took her husband and daughter. Such a tragic story. I had to vid them, at least a little piece of them. And you had them on your list so... here it is! I hope you will enjoy it and please know, it was such a joy to vid for you. I will never not be in awe watching your edits when each and one of them is making me feel so much emotions. Never stop!

As to the story in the vid:
As I already mentioned, there is not much known about either Ted Tonks or Andromeda Black. We know she had two sisters, Narcissa and Bellatrix. She went against her family beliefs and married a muggle-born wizard, was cast away and never contacted her family again. She had a daughter - Nymphadora. We know even less about Ted, only the end of his story. So I had a liberty of going with headcanons for this one and whew, what fun it was! I see Ted as a Hufflepuff (as his daughter) and a very cheerful, rebellious soul. Not rebellious in a troublesome manner like Marauders but more like a person who is aware of being and outcast and deals with it with humour and wit. He is intelligent and aware that beautiful Andromeda Black is not like her sisters. He sees that she doubts her family beliefs and tends to have rather controversial opinions on her own. It drawns him to her, even when she is very reluctant to behave friendly towards him. She doesn't care about his blood status but she is aware of what her family would do if they knew she mingles in such company. She was, as most pure-bloods, promised to another member of Sacred Twenty-Eight. In my headcanon, after studying the Black family tree I figured one of Parkinsons was a safe bet (aka no blood connection in past and future). But she cannot help herself. She finds herself thinking about this silly Hufflepuff too often and feeling weird things when he is around. She fights it, she does. But only for so long.
I thought that Andromeda's family was a big part of their story, so I added them. Their reactions. Angry and violent Bellatrix, scared and compliant Narcissa, rebelious and charming Sirius. Her mother, trying to control her. Her grandmother doing the same. All the struggle they had to go through to find happiness together.
